Wayward Wind Images - The Photography of John Markus

My name is John Markus and I have been interested in photography since I was 14 years old and took photographs of trees near the caddy house where I worked.
Over the years I have acquired camera equipment that started with Minolta moved on the Olympus and then to a bagful of Nikon equipment. Recently I have gone back to Olympus with the acquisition of an Olympus OM-D system.
I love photography. I love the process of taking photos and then using today’s technology to produce the very best images that I can. Photography makes me look at the world in a very different way. It opens my eyes and allows me to truly enjoy this beautiful world.
I have been blessed to be able to travel during my working career. We lived in Europe for several years and I continue to follow the wayward wind to observe and capture what I can and to share those images with anyone who cares to take a look.
I hope you enjoy this site and suggest that you come back often to see what’s new. Let me know what you think…………

"When words become unclear, I shall focus with photographs.
When images become inadequate, I shall be content with silence."
- Ansel Adams
